Dear Sir,
On behalf of Wojek Smallsoa, Chairman of the World Rock Paper Scissors Society Steering Committee, we would like to inform you of the results of the recent meeting regarding your sanctioning application to hold the "World's first RPS TXT knockout tournament" in New Zealand.
The vote was a incredible 17 'in favour' to 1 'not in favour. The sole vote against coming from the Australian Representative who claimed that he "had it under good advisement that a similar tournament more than likely occoured in [his] jurisdiction at some point in the not too distant past, but long enough ago that the specific details escaped [him]". Since the voting results more than satisfies the necessary requirements, we are pleased to inform you that your tournament-sanctioning license has been officially approved, endorsed, authorized and granted.
During Mr. Smallsoa's closing remarks of the Steering Committee session he remarked, "World take note, New Zealand is at forefront of a new revolution in the sport, they have now conquered the Great Barrier of RPS by giving players from Fiordland to Paihia the ability to compete as if they were side by side through successfully integrating RPS competition software into a mobile telephone device."
We will be sending two representatives to your country to oversee this important and historic tournament and we wish you all the success with what is sure to be a exciting moment in RPS history.
Congratulations!
Yours sincerely
Graham Walker
